Security Officer Screening
Before
a Security Officer is considered for employment, he or she must
meet the following criteria:
-
Personal
Interview
- This
is to ensure that all potential candidates can effectively
communicate with clients and can conduct themselves in a
professional, mature, responsible and courteous manner, and
are able to make vital decisions on their own. We make every
effort possible to recruit candidates that have at least two
years of experience as security officers.
-
- DMV
Records
- GuardForce
requires all applicants to have a valid drivers' license,
clean DMV records and a reliable car.
-
- Employment,
Education and Credit History
- All
candidates must provide information on at least 4 years of verifiable
employment history. We painstakingly review and verify past
employments and ensure that all potential candidates are
eligible to work as security officers. We require that all
candidates possess valid Guard Cards prior to taking
on-site assignments.
In
addition to the candidate's employment verification,
GuardForce also thoroughly investigates and verifies each
candidate's educational background, credit history and traces
candidate's social security number to validate the accuracy of
the information provided by the applicant. GuardForce prefers a
high school diploma or equivalent (GED) as the minimum
educational requirement to qualify for a security officer
position.
- Criminal
Background Check and Drug Testing
- GuardForce
requires that all candidates take a State and National Live
Scan. It is our strict requirement
that all candidates must have clean criminal background.
There is absolutely no exception to this requirement.
- Additionally,
initial and random alcohol and drug tests are performed to
ensure that our security officers and their mangers maintain
the highest level of professionalism at all times.
